1. Le Parc National D’azagny
Azagny National Park was a hunting reserve until 1954, the area was classified in 1960 as a partial wildlife reserve after a six year period of prohibited hunting. The park is home to a small herd of elephants (brought in March 2014 from Daloa where they caused nuisance to local farmers), monkeys, herbivores of all kinds, reptiles and a multitude of other anumal species.

2. Tour of ile SODECOCO
The largest island in West Africa.
3. Nature walk in the forest
Animals found here include: Elephants, buffalo, gazelles, monkeys, crocodiles, hornbill birds, deer etc.
4. Rent a boat, Jet ski or pedal boat
One can rent a boat to get to the islands, the boats are usually stationed at the marina of Avikam lodge but are operated by OIPR agents.
5. Tour of ile au chimpanze
The island is a piece of tropical forest in the estuary of the Bandama River. More than 30 years ago, it housed twenty of these great apes, used in medical experiments on cancer. Ponso is the only survivor of a group of 20 chimpanzees transferred by the laboratory Vilab-Liberia in Ivory Coast in 1983. In 2015, this one-meter tall monkey experienced a tragedy: his partner and two children died mysteriously, since then, the animal lives alone.
6. Tour of the historic city
Discover the remains of the glorious past of Grand Lahou from the remains of colonial houses among them the governor’s house, the first post office, the first primary school, the colonial church etc.
